OUR GOALS
-Get You Growing: No matter your situation, how little or how much time you have, I'm here to convince you that you can achieve your growing dreams!
-Quality Plants: To provide you with strong, healthy plants to get your garden growing, even if it's just a little at a time.
-Educate: To help educate and share knowledge about growing your own food, different techniques for sustaining that growth, the different uses and health benefits of the plants, and much much more!
-Demonstration Gardens On Site: Our nursery is a part of our food forest, giving you an opportunity to see first hand how plants look, feel, and even taste! Check out plant guilds and how we maximize each little space and different light levels, how we work along with our livestock, all while still incorporating space for standard raised garden beds for annuals.
OUR STORY
My husband and I have always been driven by a desire to live off the land, provide our family with healthy, homegrown food and medicines, be as self sustainable as possible, take responsibility for our food, and help teach others how to do the same. Our dream became a possibility when we left New England, the only home we’d ever known, to live in beautiful, sunny Florida.
We were blessed with coming across a piece of empty land that fit all our needs, and so the adventure began! In between working our full time jobs in healthcare, we’ve established a thriving and functioning food forest on just one acre, filled with vegetables, fruits, root crops, medicinals, support plants, and more, all of which feed not only us but help support our livestock (chickens, rabbits, turkeys and ducks). In turn, our livestock brings us great joy, food for our bellies and compost for our gardens.
Now, after all our trials, errors, and successes, we’re excited to begin sharing our knowledge, tips, and tricks with you, as well as the amazing plants we’ve spent years getting to know and love!
It has been and will continue to be one of my greatest joys to help nourish the knowledge and love of growing to any of those who wishes it, no matter how much or how little time or growing space you have. So have a look around! Feel free to email me with any questions you have.
